The Kansai International Airport area is a miniature airport themed zone that is an elaborate replica of Kansai Airport in Osaka, Japan. This is where all the excitement you expect at the airport comes to life.

As you enter the area, there are dozens of monitors installed on the walls. There are also chairs provided so you can sit and look at the monitor.

These monitors relay images from not only the airport area but also other exhibition areas in Small World. This is a monitoring location that broadcasts the entire diorama live, including the Space Center, Global Village Sailor Moon Zone, etc.

In this area, the airport complex and runways, which are precisely recreated as real airports over a wide area, capture the attention of visitors.

All elements of the airport are made in miniature, from the runway, passenger terminal, boarding gate, baggage claim, information board, and maintenance technician.
In particular, the three-dimensional movement line, sound design, lighting, and mechanical movement are designed together, so you can feel as if you have entered an actual airport and experience the dynamic daily life of the airport.

An aircraft slowly moving along the runway or stopping at the boarding gate. In particular, observe the ‘taxiing’ scene where the plane slowly approaches to reach the boarding gate.

On the runway, various aircraft automatically take off and land, and with sound effects and announcements, it feels like a real airport.

There is also a lounge where you can take a break during your tour and enjoy the view of the miniature airport.

This is a popular spot where you can sit in a comfortable seat, enjoy a drink, or watch the flight with your own eyes while taking in the view of the runway.
