Small Worlds Museum Café in Gallery B: An Atmospheric Coffee Break with a Japanese Landscape Diorama

On the second floor of the exhibition hall, there is a rest area where you can take a break during or after viewing the exhibition. We stopped by the museum cafe to take a break and have a snack during our tour.

The Museum Café in Gallery B is an experiential café that continues the atmosphere of the miniature world with the theme of “Japanese Nightlife” where you can enjoy the night views of various parts of Japan while eating or relaxing.

Upon entering Gallery B, I was struck by the vast space with its numerous lights lining the ceiling and round tables placed about.

At its center is a diorama depicting a timeless Japanese landscape, including vast terraced rice fields, a fishing village, fantastic limestone caves, an industrial area, cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.

There is also a photo spot where you can stick your head out and look around 360 degrees. It is a perfect place to enjoy both photo taking and an atmospheric meal at the same time.

I was also able to observe the train tracks and miniatures temporarily placed on one side of the store.
